Biography
Rob Rakusin is the Managing Director of RAK Real Estate Equities.
Prior to co-founding RAK, Rob served as President and CEO of Seefried Industrial Properties for over 30 years. Under his leadership, Rob grew the company into one of the premier privately held industrial development firms in the country. He provided guidance and support to Seefried's regional offices and played a key role in deal structuring and financing activities. He also worked closely with regional partners and was instrumental in maintaining relationships with Seefried's U.S. capital partners and major user/occupier clients, including leading the execution of well over 100 large-scale build-to-suit developments for Amazon across the United States.
Rob has developed more than 200 million square feet of industrial product nationwide, totaling over $18 billion in project value. His experience spans build-to-suit developments, speculative warehouse projects, and data centers, with more than 400 industrial buildings delivered.
Prior to joining Seefried, Rob served as Managing Director and Vice President of Development for Landmarks Development, GmbH, the German subsidiary of The Landmarks Group, where he was responsible for the development of office buildings and industrial parks in the Berlin market. Before that, he was Vice President of Project Finance for The LandMarks Group and worked for Carter & Associates from 1981 to 1988.
Rob is a graduate of the University of Florida, School of Accounting.
